shorten the sales cycle
is it really the best thing to shorten the sales cycle.
I ran across this post in one of my LinkedIn groups this week.
When you ask most people involved in sales, be they front line, leaders, experts, and pundits, one of the top three things on their “wish list” is a shorter sales cycle. Theory being if one can increase the velocity of the sale, one can get more sales done, and the world is a happier place. Or is it? Beyond the feel good nature of the sentiment, is there anything to support the view that faster is better ? (Tibor Shanto)
