Traits of a Good Telesales Person
What would you say are the 5 most important aspects to be a good tele-sales person?
I do not proclaim to be an expert in this particular field but here's my list:
1)Resilience - a telesales person needs to be able to handle rejection
2) Rapport - You need to be able to quickly build rapport with the person on the other end of the phone
3) Listening Skills - you need acute listening skills so you can pick up your prospects interest level.
4) Focus on criteria - You need to be able to recognize what's important to your prospect and if your product "fits the bill" to be able to talk in terms that your prospect relates to and understands.
5) Finally you need to be confident enough to close the deal and while doing that leave your client in such a frame of mind that buyers remorse is NOT going to happen.
