How to develop a strong sales team?
a strong sales team is one that takes initiative and doesn't need you to be following them around checking that they are working ? Yes ?
Hire for attitude and coach them for competence.
You need to hire people who want to make things happen, who want to make a difference, who don't mind having their success or failures show up on a sales printout every month and who are keen to learn more.
Then you coach them on how to sell OR if you are not the best coach get someone else to coach them on how to sell. And monitor their progress. Be supportive of them.
