Persuasion at closing.
Cold calling needs to be about courtesy and discovery and establishing rapport rather than pitching. I avoid scripts as they often sound unnatural and that doesn't help build rapport.
If you have done all the other things right closing should be a piece of cake. Build rapport, discover the customer's wants and needs, build value and speak in their language then you could be amazed at how easy it is to close.
